The settings will be modern, state of the art, private hospitals or clinics. Each hospital will work with a wide range of elective specialties including ENT, Ophthalmology, cosmetics, plastics, urology, gynae, general surgeries, minor & major orthopaedics. Some hospitals will also run some NHS lists too.If you have a background in scrub, anaesthetics or recovery please get in touchMust have a valid NMC or HCPC pin number and be based in the UK with at least 12 months UK theatre experience Requirements: HCPC/NMC pinBased in the UK with at least 12 months UK theatre experienceAttainment of relevant specialist qualification / knowledgePrevious experience within scrubA good team playerOrganised and ability to plan Duties and Responsibilities: Deliver a consistently high standard of patient care utilizing evidence-based practiceAssess, plan, deliver and implement excellent perioperative patient care by demonstratingSafe, clinical decision-making and expert care.Prepare equipment and instruments according to Surgeon’s preference cardsEnsure all equipment is checked prior to use and fault reportingLiaise with Sterile Services – cleaning and processing instrument setsPreparation and support of patients under Local/Regional/General Anaesthetics.
