Because of continued demand or their products, our Halifax based client is currently looking for a Manual Machinist to join their team on a permanent basis. As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for operating a number of conventional machine tools, including Lathes, Milling Machines and Radial Drills.E3R are incredibly proud to be supporting a long established, family owned business during these testing times. Because of continued demand or their products, our Halifax based client is currently looking for a Manual Machinist to join their team on a permanent basis. As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for operating a number of conventional machine tools, including Lathes, Milling Machines and Radial Drills. Employing around 30 people at their Halifax facility, this small but mighty manufacturing business design, manufacture and build a range of machines which are supplied to customers in various countries across the globe. All machining & production is for internal products and projects, meaning there is no sub-contract work in this role. Because of continued investment and demand of their products & services, this employer is actively searching for a Manual Machinist to join their team on a permanent basis. For the Manual Machinist positions, we are searching for individuals who possess: IDEAL NOT ESSENTIAL: Formal qualifications within Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline Apprenticeship, NVQ/City & Guilds/BTEC Level 3 or similarPrevious experience operating conventional machine tools such as Lathes, Radial Drills and Milling Machines within a precision engineering environmentThe ability to work directly from engineering drawings & diagrams In return, the Manual Machinist will receive: Annual Salary: Up to £31,616.00 £16.00 per hourHoliday Entitlement: 34 Days per annum 26 + bank holidaysPermanent employment with a stable, long-established, family owned businessCompany pension scheme after qualifying periodWorking Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30AM – 4PM / Friday 7:30AM-3:15PM To apply for the Manual Machinist vacancy, please click “Apply Now” and attach a copy of your CV, alternatively please contact Callum Good at E3 Recruitment for more information.
