IT Systems Engineer a global plastics manufacturer with close to 200 locations worldwide, to join their head office in Ross:on:Wye. 50 hybrid working will be available for this role after probation. The Role:As an IT Systems Engineer, you'll join the international team supporting and developing the company's IT infrastructure. You'll play a key role in maintaining and improving this infrastructure. Your key duties will include: : Administrating and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows Server : Network device management e.g. switches, routers, VLANs, WiFi etc : Operating network services: AD, DHCP, DNS etc : Supporting EDR solutions : IT project management : evaluating alternative solutions and managing implementation : Working with 3rd party support providers to deliver solutions for the company : Implementing new and upgrading previous IT solutions : Supporting IT colleagues with troubleshooting employee PC issues : Designing and implementing new technical processes and policies The successful IT Systems Engineer will demonstrate: : Previous experience in a similar IT / Network / Systems Engineer role : Experience of working in an ITIL based environment : Excellent Windows Server and Client skills : Excellent understanding of networking is crucial, ideally Cisco : Ability to collaborate with multiple teams across the company : Ability to work independently and on your own initiative : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills : Strong attention to detail : Full UK driving licence as occasional travel within the UK will be required for incident management and project work Benefits: : Up to GBP 45,000 salary : 50 hybrid working (3/2 day split over two weeks) following probation : Annual salary review with recognition payment and/or salary increase : Flexible hours (core hours 10am:3.30pm) : 32 days holiday including stats, rising to 33 after 2 years : Access to benefits platform : Pension scheme : Health and wellbeing : Access to internal and external training and development courses : Holiday buy / sell scheme : Onsite parking : Cycle to Work Scheme IT Systems Engineer Ross:on:Wye, Herefordshire Up to GBP 45,000 + hybrid working + benefits Network Engineer Network Manager IT Engineer Network Administrator Network Security Security Engineer
