Procurement Project ManagerProcurement Project ManagerLocation: BrentSalary: £45,021 per annumType: PermanentAbout the RoleThe Procurement Project Manager will play a critical role in contributing to an effective procurement service for the organization. They will manage procurement projects of low to medium value complexity and support larger, more complex and/or high-value multi-million pound projects. The successful candidate will provide expert technical information, advice, and guidance on all aspects of the procurement process to internal customers and deal effectively with third-party suppliers as external customers of the company's processes. The role requires working flexibly across all categories of expenditure and departments to provide a resilient, professional, and customer-focused procurement service to the council.Key Responsibilities Manage procurement projects of low to medium value complexity and support larger, more complex and/or high-value multi-million pound projectsProvide expert technical information, advice, and guidance on all aspects of the procurement process to internal customersDeal effectively with third-party suppliers as external customers of the company's processesWork flexibly across all categories of expenditure and departments to provide a resilient, professional, and customer-focused procurement service to the council Requirements Expert knowledge of the procurement process, ideally in a public sector environmentThorough knowledge of one or more categories of procurement activity Adult Social Care, Children's Social Care, Education, Communities, Public Health and Culture, Corporate Services, Environmental Services, Regeneration, Construction and HousingExperience of managing end-to-end procurement processesExperience of working on high-value, complex projects with multiple stakeholders How to ApplyIf you are interested in this Procurement Project Manager role, please submit your CV and a cover letter highlighting your relevant experience and qualifications.
