Housing Manager Key Responsibilities: Customer Service and Community Engagement: Ensure customers have safe, well-maintained homes and are part of thriving communities.Manage tasks including allocations and lettings, anti-social behaviour ASB, repairs, estate inspections, arrears, and fire safety.Handle ASB reports, including noise, under the good neighbourhood management policy.Advocate for customer involvement in consultations and other participatory areas. Support and Adaptation: Identify and arrange additional or specialist support for customers to continue living in their homes.Collaborate with teams for aids and adaptations and signpost to external support services.Address and escalate safeguarding issues swiftly. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a joined-up approach to community support.Coordinate with Customer Service, Maintenance, Health & Safety, and other teams to address queries and fulfil customer agreements.Stay ahead of legal and environmental regulations impacting housing services. Housing Manager Essential Experience: Experience in tenancy management including arrears, ASB, tenure, and sustaining tenancies.Experience in estate and property management including void management, allocations, and service charge consultation.Customer-focused approach with significant experience in a similar role.Ability to manage tasks independently and effectively, with strong organizational skills.Confidence in using IS systems and technology for digital-first approaches.Full driving license and access to own vehicle. Enhanced DBS certification for working with adults. The Package This is a temporary, Housing Manager role, for an initial 3 months, covering the recruitment process for a permanent team member, meaning the role could be extended, or become permanent.Referral Bonus If this Temporary Housing Manager role is not suitable for yourself, but you know someone who may be interested, please pass on their details, or forward these details to them.
