The Difference is that you will apply your expertise in fulfilling an essential gap to progress on to the next steps and bring improvements to the ICB working closely with the local authority, provider care homes and the internal teams. You will bring new ideas to work better together and make decisions on things to adapt for the future.The role is both interesting and challenging because together with ensuring the packages are commissioned at right price and quality there is also an opportunity to get involved with an enhanced health in care homes programme and how to support care homes from a workforce development perspective. To deliver this we require an experienced senior Strategic Commissioner who has a strong business and finance expertise that comes from a health or social care background. Someone who is not afraid to be hands on and has a good track record of working with teams, commissioning and managing personal health budgets.
