This is a unique opportunity to be part of a transformative approach to tackling homelessness, focusing on providing secure housing first and foremost, followed by tailored support to address individual needs. Housing First Worker Key Responsibilities: Conduct regular safety planning and welfare checks for a small, assigned caseload of clients.Develop and maintain person-centered support plans, working closely with clients to help them sustain their tenancies and improve their overall well-being.Collaborate with various stakeholders, including local authorities, healthcare providers, and community organizations, to coordinate comprehensive support services for clients.Provide immediate support and intervention in crisis situations, ensuring the safety and stability of clients.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, support plans, and outcomes. About You: Previous experience working in housing, homelessness, or a related field is highly desirable.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Understanding of the Housing First approach and the complexities of homelessness. Knowledge of relevant local services and support networks.Willingness to work both remotely and in various community settings.Passionate about helping individuals experiencing homelessness achieve stability and improve their quality of life. Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience in a similar role.Enhanced DBS certification for working with adults.Strong organizational and communication skills.
