Their growth will be achieved from a combination of delivery of technical excellence, development of the select intellectual property, and key client relationships on gigawatt-scale power developments. What will you be doing Project Delivery• Knowledge of the North American Electric Reliability Corporation NERC and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission FERC compliance requirements and/or ISOs’ generation interconnection and transmission planning guidelines.• Specific knowledge of at least one of these markets, ERCOT, MISO, and/or CAISO.• Execute and/or supervise steady-state studies, short-circuit/fault studies, and transient stability studies to national and international standards using PSS/E, PSLF, TARA, ASPEN, and/or PSCAD.• Execute and/or supervise other specialized studies such as harmonic distortions and electromagnetic transient studies.• Prepare, review, and/or modify steady state and dynamic PSS/E and/or PSLF models as needed for project-specific applications. Commercial• Lead proposal preparation and procure work. Preparing companies' submission material including scope, schedule fees, and terms and conditions,• Manage financial and technical performance on projects to time and budget.• Assist to deliver the utility-scale renewable energy business internal operating plan goals including the strong commercial performance of projects.• Support in recruiting and managing sub-consultants and subcontractors responsible for delivering scope on behalf of the company. Business Development Be responsible and accountable for client relations internal and/or external.Connect with clients, keeps them informed, seek and distribute client and stakeholder feedback, listen to complaints and praise team and collaborator good performance, manage expectations and respond appropriately Leadership• Collaborate with the wider power system studies team in resource management, task allocations, and quality assurance of the team delivery.• Contribute to the overall leadership of the company’s Energy business in the Americas region.• Mentor and develop people, promote learning from successes and problems within the group. Are you the ideal candidate• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Ph.D. is a plus for this position.• At least 8 years of hands-on experience in delivering power system studies using PSS/E, PSLF, and/or PSCAD/EMTDC. Knowledge of DigSILENT is not required but would be considered a plus.• At least 2 years in team and business leadership.• PE license and NCEES accreditation for comity to USA states are preferred.• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of engineers, other technical and support staff.• Excellent track record in business development with exceptional team leadership and relationship-building skills.• Demonstrated strong commercial acumen and financial skills.
