Edrive Lead Engineer Automotive Permanent or Contract Our client is a world:renowned organisation who specialise in product and system innovation for the automotive arena, seeking to recruit an Electrical Specialist to lead on Edrive, power electronics and battery systems. You will support the development of niche EVs across several vehicle platforms. You will be based at their Innovation Centre in the Warwick area that focus on delivering solutions across all areas of transportation, especially within future technology. As Edrive Lead Engineer you will: * Be responsible for Edrive and associated systems supervising the execution in order to optimize time and to meet programme and quality targets during new product development.* To contribute and make recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team, after due analysis and consultation with partners, in order to ensure the delivery of project requirements, by providing the technical expertise and advisory input to the project and manage the system teams on the projects* To provide technical leadership of projects by working pro:actively within the engineering teams, suppliers, partners and senior management as needed to deliver technical objectives to time and to budget.* To ensure rapid resolution of any technical issues that may arise and to refer unresolved matters to the SLT for guidance or decision As EDRIVE Lead you will need: * Engineering Degree or equivalent with senior management experience of delivering projects within an automotive OEM, either directly or with a tier 1 supplier.* Proven experience in Edrives, Power electronics, battery systems within automotive industry* High level of self:motivation with ability to plan and deliver goals to deadlines, managing large budgets within resource constraints at a senior level and under pressure* Able to work unfettered in the UK indefinitely.
