Senior Quality Engineer (Manufacturing / Engineering) Plymouth Up to A GBP 50,000 DOE + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Life Assurance 3x Annual Salary + Pension 5 Matched + Company bonus based on attendance, productivity, and quality + Company discount scheme and Westfield health. Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week (Flexible working, core hours to be covered). Core Hours: 9am : 3pm Mon:Thurs and 9am : 2pm on Friday. Senior Quality Engineer required for a highly successful manufacturer offering ongoing career development. The Senior Quality Engineer Role: * Leading internal and customer audits.* Taking lead ensuring all actions carried out in production are in line with H and S.* Ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.* Leading FAI requirements including compiling PPAPs.* Contributing to the team by coaching and mentoring less experienced team members.* Taking lead on carrying out product and process validation.* Supporting transfer of products to manufacturing.* Facilitating customer complaints and checking for trends.* Root cause analysis and investigation of faults, applying corrective action to follow.* Assisting with internal and external audits. The Successful Senior Quality Engineer: * Relevant qualification in an engineering discipline.* Experience of SPC, AQP and PPAP process.* Experience of DFMEA and PFMEA.* Knowledge of ISO Quality and Environmental Management standards.* Experience of problem:solving systems and procedures.
