Role Purpose: Design, plan and execute studies in support of technology or process/product development projects with well-defined scopes and timelines. Analyse study data to drive conclusions. Key Accountabilities and Duties: Delivery: * Setting up equipment to enable monitoring and control of integrated protein purification * Technical purification equipment support during proof-of-concept runs to demonstrate integration and automation deliverables * Independently designs studies and prepare study plan to achieve project targets * Executes detailed study plans with associated timelines and analyse data * Represent purification in multi-disciplinary teams to support technology implementation in development and manufacturing operations, in line with area of scientific expertise Work practices: * Provide strong scientific / technical leadership in the development and implementation of bioprocessing technologies * Maintains accurate and timely records to appropriate quality standards for self and team, * Perform high quality technical analyses, prepare reports and presentations with clear conclusions and recommendations for internal or external use * Support team resource planning, project management activities and prioritisation decisions * Adhere to good laboratory practices, support housekeeping and maintenance activity * Adhere to Safety, Health and Environmental practices; support safety and risk assessments * Comply with required data integrity, documentation, and training standards Qualifications: Degree (required) *BSc OR BEng Field of Study Biotechnology, Chemistry OR Chemical Engineering Every day, Lonza’s products and services have a positive impact on millions of people.
