The Housing Housing First Project Lead will provide dedicated end-to-end casework management across Housing First tenancies, ensuring that housing management services provided to tenants are of excellent standard.Requirements Previous experience in a similar role such as Tenancy Officer, Housing Officer or equivalentKnowledge of housing legislation, policies, and procedures.Proficient in providing tenancy, housing, and leasehold advice with an understanding of compliance procedureExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong organizational abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks, managing workload efficiently, and meeting deadlinesExperience delivering effective services to the publicFull Enhanced DBS CheckFull UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle Role Expectations Ensure the housing management services provided to tenants are of an excellent standard and conform to relevant statutory requirements and best practice To lead on casework of Housing First tenancies to identify areas of choice/ risk and ensure that the home and individual are suited, providing an end-to-end tenancy serviceMaximise tenancy sustainment by providing tenancy support to vulnerable tenants or those identified with a support need; including referral to specialist agencies where appropriate with an awareness of Safeguarding practicesMaintain up to date Tenant and Leaseholder profile information in order to tailor service delivery to customer needPromote community safety through proactive service delivery, effectively responding to reports of anti-social behaviour, hate crimes, domestic abuse, and other breachesEnsure that complaints and incidents of anti-social behaviour, drugs, harassment, hate, domestic abuse and criminal activity are proactively investigated. Provide a victim centred service that delivers prevention, early intervention and swift enforcementProvide housing advice, including advice on Universal Credit and Housing Benefit, and undertake home visits to tenants and leaseholders, including urgent visits as and when requiredResponsible for ensuring that rent accounts and repairs are managed as effectively as possible as part of the case file management, in accordance with current policy and procedureIdentify opportunities to improve estate and scheme conditions, creating desirable living environmentBuild and maintain partnerships with internal and external customer, statutory agencies and referral-based services to support excellent local area delivery If you are interested in this position and meet the above criteria, please send your CV now for consideration.
