The purpose of the role is to support the Group Health & Safety Manager.Responsibilities: To set a personal example, wearing appropriate personal protective clothing and equipment, and observing all safety requirements and procedures.Ensure that all projects are undertaken and completed with Health & Safety as the upmost priority.Advise Directors and Managers on all safety, health and welfare matters to ensure the company complies with its statutory obligations.Monitor site Health & Safety arrangements and activities and make proposals to the Site Manager to ensure that all sites are fully Health & Safety compliant.In conjunction with site management, develop and implement site specific safety and quality control plans and programs, resolving problems whilst ensuring that projects are completed safely and on time.Produce Health & Safety Risk Assessments for all site staff, ensuring safe working methods are always adopted.Conduct Health & Safety inspections and site audits and recommend remedial actions as required.Report on changes in legislation and advice obtained from other sources.Advise Contracts Directors immediately of any near misses.Advise the Health &Safety Manager immediately of all incidents under RIDDOR in accordance with company procedures Our client is looking to move quickly and are therefore offering between £34,500 - £39,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications.If interested or require more information please feel free to get in touch on 0177XXXXXX or via email at XXXX@servicecare.org.uk
