Occupational Health Physician An excellent opportunity has arisen as an Occupational Health Physician working 1 day per week in Nottingham and 1 day per week in Derby. Responsibilities include but not limited to: :Acting as lead physician in supporting, developing, and maintaining local clinical policies and procedures.: Undertake case management for staff who have short: or long:term illness or injury, in particular in relation to complex or onward referred cases.: Carrying out routine medical examinations and assessments in line with the medical standards.:To provide clinical advice as Medical Advisor on claims for early ill health retirement and injury claims and appeal.:Represent the Occupational Health Department at internal and external meetings and events when required. Requirements: :Registered Medical Practitioner.: DipOccMed qualification.: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively.: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.: Recent relevant occupational health experience of working in a clinical or medical service.: Experience of managing complex cases, maintaining standards of clinical competence, providing appropriate and relevant specialist advice.
