The Role: We are looking for an experienced property professional to join the leadership team within the Property Services Operations function, leading a multi:disciplinary team of Building Surveyors and Engineers delivering a programme of "Lifecycle" planned maintenance on the Hampshire County Council (HCC) Corporate Estate as well as other project work. You will also be responsible for leading our Energy Team who support our energy contracts and energy efficiency initiatives. This is a critical role, responsible for managing multiple (million pound plus) programmes comprising of projects of varying values and complexity, with a responsibility for owning senior relationships. Leading the "Lifecyle" planned maintenance and project programmes across a diverse portfolio of assets over HCC's Corporate estate including Council offices, historic buildings, registered care homes, libraries, country parks, and highway depots as well as other clients estate. We are looking for someone that is passionate about delivering public services; a collaborative and empathetic leader, who can inspire and lead teams. You will be commercially and financially aware, able to flex to meet the changing requirements of the role and to prioritise a busy workload.
