Position: Reservations AgentLocation: DresdenCompany: Confidential ClientAbout Us: A well-recognized international hotel chain is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Reservations Agent to join their newly refurbished hotel, featuring the latest Gen4 bedrooms and public areas. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and guest-focused team in a supportive and enjoyable work environment.Key Responsibilities:Actively convert bedroom enquiries into confirmed business while providing a personalized guest experience.Respond timely to communications from guests, travel agents, and leads concerning reservations via mail and telephone.Prepare confirmation letters and promptly process cancellations, modifications, and guest requests.Reflect the quality of the hotel with a positive, professional attitude, strong attention to detail, and thorough knowledge of the hotel.Provide exceptional call experiences by being informed, efficient, and intuitive during the call process.Maximize sales, occupancy, and room rates with a sales-oriented attitude, striving towards direct booking conversion and minimizing sales costs.Know the selling status, rates, and benefits of all package plans and determine room rates based on hotel selling tactics.Input and update reservations from all booking channels, ensuring all relevant information and special requests are communicated to relevant departments.Handle daily correspondence and respond to inquiries promptly.Stay updated with hotel facilities, amenities, and local area information, and communicate these benefits to guests at the time of reservation.Process cancellations and modifications and relay information to the Front Office as needed.Update OTA extranets with modifications, cancellations, and no-shows to ensure accurate commission reconciliation.Understand and implement the hotel's policy on guaranteed reservations and no-shows.Track future room availability based on reservations and monitor advance deposit requirements.Take a proactive approach to daily reservation department activity, improving overall efficiency.Support hotel operations during high demand periods.Perform other duties as assigned or deemed necessary by management.Qualifications:Previous experience in a similar capacity with a minimum of 1 year.Fluent in written and spoken German and English.Experience working with Opera PMS System.Knowledge of OTAs and other hotel-related systems is an advantage.Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.Excellent communication skills.Self-motivated and continuously strive to improve skills and knowledge.Ability to work with minimal supervision.What We Offer:Substantial employee discount at 5,000+ hotels worldwide.26 days holiday allowance.100 covered job transportation tickets.Probationary bonus.Employee referral program with up to £500 payout.Employee of the Quarter programs and an annual awards ceremony.Free meal on duty.Friends and family hotel discounts.How to Apply:further details, apply today or send your CV to XXXX@corecruitment.com.Due to the volume of applications, we may not be able to provide feedback to all applicants.
