The school has a fantastic reputation supporting the diverse community. The school are able to offer lots of support and deeply care about academically improving the students.The role is a full-time ongoing position to start in September for at least one academic year. As this is maternity cover, the role is short-term. As a Year 1 Teacher you will be expected to: Prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons that align with the National Curriculum and cater to the diverse needs of Year 1 students.Plan and deliver lessons in line with the Primary Year 1 National CurriculumCreate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement, respect, and a love for learning.Tailor teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs and learning styles of students, including those with special educational needs SEN and English as an Additional Language EAL.Work collaboratively with colleagues, including teaching assistants and other staff members, to plan and deliver cohesive and effective educational experiences.Implement effective phonics programs to support early literacy development and help students develop strong reading and writing skills.
