We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Planner with a proven track record in the food or engineering manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have exceptional knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems CMMS, purchase orders, invoicing, SAP, material management, and stores. This role is crucial to ensuring the seamless planning and execution of our engineering projects. We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Planner with a proven track record in the food or engineering manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have exceptional knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems CMMS, purchase orders, invoicing, SAP, material management, and stores. This role is crucial to ensuring the seamless planning and execution of our engineering projects. In this role, you will develop and manage maintenance plans, schedules, and activities to ensure optimal efficiency and minimal downtime. Utilizing CMMS systems, you will track, analyze, and report maintenance activities, ensuring accurate and timely data entry and maintenance history records. You will oversee the procurement process, including generating and managing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and handling invoicing tasks. Effective use of SAP for material management, including tracking inventory levels, coordinating with the stores department, and ensuring accurate material availability for maintenance activities, is essential. Additionally, you will manage and control inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels of necessary parts and materials to support maintenance activities. Collaboration with engineering, production, and procurement teams to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure alignment with production schedules and goals is a key aspect of this position. We require a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the food or engineering manufacturing industry. Strong proficiency in using CMMS systems for planning, scheduling, and tracking maintenance activities is essential. Hands-on experience with SAP, particularly in material management and procurement modules, is necessary. In-depth knowledge of maintenance planning, procurement processes, and inventory management is required. Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to analyze data to drive decision-making are crucial. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments, are necessary. Exceptional organizational abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, are essential.
