As a dynamic and tech-driven startup, curiosity and innovation are two of the main traits that we love about our applicants! Team The Data & Digital team helps people to use data effectively to improve the performance of their projects or organisations. To do this effectively and at scale we use modern digital technologies including Azure, Fabric, Power BI and Power Platform. We pride ourselves on being structured and outcome driven, helping us to build the best solutions and helping us to continuously improve what we do. Your top 5 responsibilities: Building reports for our clients: Develop Power BI reports tailored to clients' needs by developing a deep understanding of the business problems being solved. Building data solutions for internal reporting: Helping Laminar to become data driven by developing effective internal reporting. Productisation of client solutions: Designing and building reusable backend and front ends that work across different data sets and systems. Following and developing our processes: Following our best practices and identifying areas for us to improve by refining or introducing new processes. Develop everyone: Keeping your knowledge up to date with latest industry trends and imparting that knowledge onto others. Your Capabilities You will be a proactive person who seeks to improve the way things are done and able to communicate best practice to the rest of the team. We are looking for someone who is focus on users’ needs as well as being proficient technically to develop industry leading Power BI report. As a candidate, you should have: Degree educated in one of the following: Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of developing Power BI reports that are used across an organisation. Working with multiple stakeholders to gather requirements in a structured approach. Development of wireframes and design documentation. Experience of designing organisational data models. It would also be great if you are/have: Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate. Creating company standards and processes around Power BI development. Experience of other BI tools e.g. Tableau, QuickSight, QlikView. Wider knowledge of the Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate, DataVerse etc. Coding experience in SQL or Python. Consultancy experience.
