We are looking for top talent to join the team Role: Team Leader : Support Workers Location: Leeds Job Description: Reporting to the Service Manager and responsible for a team of support workers, you will lead, supervise and develop a team of support workers to ensure the needs of those in our care are met according to their individual support plans, in line with company policies and procedures and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: As a fully competent Support Worker, you will lead from the front to deliver quality social and vocational support services for those in our care, liaising with our multidisciplinary team, our service users and their families. Youll provide line management to the team of Support Workers : communicating high standards of care and professional conduct. You will be responsible for the staff in your team and be involved in recruitment, training, organising staff rotas, ongoing appraisals and training. With the support of clinical staff, you will ensure medication is effectively managed, audited, ordered and stored in line with individuals requirements and in line with company policy. You will support managers to ensure risk assessments and support plans are updated and reviewed in agreed timescales and document all actions. With a customer focussed approach, you will have a professional and friendly approach to those in your team, the wider staff group, service users and their families.
