An exciting opportunity has arisen at Rhondda Cynon Taf council for an experienced Assessor Care Manager to join their team.RhonddaCynonTaf Council's Childrens services are seeking to recruit an Assessor Care Manager to join their team. The role is hybrid working with a mixture of home working, visits in the community with service users and office based work. As such, there is a requirement for the successful candidate to be a car driver as you will still be providing face-to-face support to families across the city where applicable. This is a full time position with an initial contract of 3 months with a view to this being extended on a rolling basis and offering a pay rate of £19 per hour.The successful candidate will work to safeguard and promote the well-being of vulnerable children and young people through high-quality assessment, care planning, and review practices. You will assist in providing services that support children and young people to live at home, or return to family members, by ensuring that personal outcomes are designed to maximise the impact of prevention and early intervention. Duties of the role: Conducting assessments and person-centred support planning for children and familiesTake on new cases as assigned, handling increasingly complex cases as skills and experience develop.Provide Information, advice and Signposting to help individuals stay healthy, plan for their future needs and effectively use servicesUndertake safeguarding actions for children and young people at risk, adhering to statutory policies.
