Effective collaboration with other departments is key to the role. The Candidate Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager within a manufacturing environment.Previous experience / knowledge of Warehouse Management systems.Good understanding of Health & Safety and legal requirements for Warehouse operations.Experience implementing and managing KPI’s.Experience of managing stock accuracy / cycle counts.Counterbalance and/or reach FLT license Desirable The RoleTo manage, motivate and develop the team of Warehouse Operators to meet productivity targets safely and efficiently.To ensure the timely allocation and completion of Warehouse Operations tasks with strict adherence to the Company’s processes and procedures, goods in receipt, unloading, inspection, labelling / documentation, and storage, picking for customer orders, picking for production, cycle counting, housekeeping To drive efficient use of resources people, equipment, and floor / racking space through development of processes and maintenance of KPIs.To continuously identify opportunities for process optimisation and efficiency improvements. To develop and promote high levels of inter-department communications and collaboration by the Warehouse team and Customer Service / Purchasing / Production / QHSE functions.To develop and maintain a high level of Health and Safety awareness across the Warehouse Team and deliver Quality and Health & Safety communications.To manage the recruitment and onboarding of new starters.To always maintain a high level of transaction accuracy.To work within business guidelines and procedures.
