Experience of working with children and young people with mental health challenges is highly desirable. A good knowledge and understanding of mental health issues in children and young people and the impact of these on them and their families is essential.You will have a thorough knowledge of assessment and understanding a mental health presentations in children and young people, and systemic appreciation of the dynamics within families. You will have a range of therapeutic skills and demonstrable experience in managing risk and complexity. You will be contributing to a comprehensive group work programme under the developing "Stepped Model" of intervention alongside completing CAMHS Assessments and undertaking the duty function associated. You will liaise with our community partners and internal and external stakeholders.
