Job Title: Director of Sales and MarketingSalary: €75.000 - €80.000Location: DusseldorfStart: ASAPI am looking for a Director of Sales and Marketing for a Hotel located in Dusseldorf.You would be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth, enhance the hotel's market presence, and maximize profitability.This role involves leading the sales and marketing team, establishing strong relationships with clients, and overseeing all sales and marketing activities.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning:Develop and execute the hotel's sales and marketing plans, including goals, strategies, and tactics.Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and market trends.Analyze competitive market strategies and adjust plans accordingly.Sales Management:Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives.Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, travel agencies, and other stakeholders.Oversee the development of sales proposals, contracts, and agreements.Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.Marketing and Promotions:Create and implement effective marketing campaigns to promote the hotel’s services and amenities.Develop and manage digital marketing strategies, including social media, email marketing, and online advertising.Coordinate with the hotel's PR team to enhance brand visibility and reputation.Oversee the production of marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and promotional videos.Revenue Management:Work closely with the revenue management team to develop pricing strategies that optimize revenue.Analyze market data and performance metrics to adjust sales and marketing tactics as needed.Implement strategies to maximize occupancy rates and average daily rates ADR.Event Management:Oversee the planning and execution of hotel events, conferences, and banquets.Develop and promote special packages and promotions to attract event bookings.Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and attention to detail.Budget Management:Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.Monitor expenses and provide financial reports to senior management.Evaluate the return on investment ROI of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly.Team Leadership:Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team.Foster a collaborative and motivating work environment.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.Proven experience as a Director of Sales and Marketing or similar role in the hospitality industry.Strong understanding of hotel operations, sales principles, and marketing strategies.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Knowledge of local and international market trends.
