Permanent position, brand new role, varied role, 4 day working week, OT Available at premium rates, forward thinking progressive company, family run business, free parking on siteWe are working with a well established family run, manufacturing business based in Doncaster, who are looking to recruit a CNC Operator for their materials prep team.Permanent position, brand new role, varied role, 4 day working week, OT Available at premium rates, forward thinking progressive company, family run business, free parking on siteWe are working with a well established family run, manufacturing business based in Doncaster, who are looking to recruit a CNC Operator for their materials prep team.We welcome applications from candidates who are CNC Operators, with a CNC, woodworking and wood shaping background within a manufacturing environment. The role would require experience with CNC Routers.Duties of the CNC Operator Cut material on the CNC router machine in line with build schedule requirements.Cut Softwood kits in the saw area in line with build schedule requirementsManufacture “in house” parts in line with build schedule requirementsWork only to works orders / panel request formsProduce parts to the correct specification in line with technical drawings and works ordersReport drawing and quality issues to supervisor and technical officeReport nesting errors to Supervisor and Technical officeComplete re-work if requiredEnsure completed parts are stored correctlyEnsure completed works orders are checked and passed to storesMonitor “RAW” stock levels and re-order as required.Train in all areas of the department to increase skillset.Responsible for the completion of all relevant paperwork What we need from you for the CNC Operator role CNC Router experience essentialCorrectly use tools and equipmentHave good attention to detail.Have good communication skillsHave good personnel skillsHave the ability to handle pressure and meet targets / deadlines.Needs to be flexible.Have a thorough understanding and knowledge of practices and terminology of the timber area and machinery.
