Role: Fire and Security ManagerReports to: Managing Director Location: Dartford and LondonShift Pattern: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm : 40 hours per week.Salary: GBP 60,000 : GBP 65,000 with uncapped earning potential + Car/Car Allowance Be that person who inspires excellence.Your Purpose: : As the General Manager Fire and Security, you will have full P and L responsibility for this newly created division. : You will be responsible for driving the commerciality of the division including day:to:day operations and forward:looking business development opportunities. : Working closely with the Managing Director, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to our blue:chip commercial and residential client base. : Your key objectives include coordinating the divisions works from inception to completion, maintaining schedules, budgets, and quality standards. : You will also be representing the division at board meetings. Act like an owner and put customers first.What you're responsible for: Role Related tasks: : Be responsible for a sales target exceeding GBP 3m and a profit target of up to GBP 500k. : Leading all Fire and Security projects from initiation to completion, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and service delivery. : Developing and nurturing existing client relationships. : Growing the business be exploring and exploiting new business opportunities and revenue streams with existing and new clients. : Advance the business to a model focussed upon direct client and customer relationships. : Increase the division capability to deliver profitable installation projects within the Fire and Security commercial and residential arenas. Special Requirements : SME Fire and Security experience in a fast:paced customer facing business is desirable. : Strong commercial focus with experience of having full P and L responsibility. : A desire to develop a business and explore and deliver new business. : A strong knowledge of the technical aspects of the Fire and Security industry is desirable. : Solid line management experience of managing both field and office:based staff. : Experience of working with a blue:chip client base. : Knowledge of the commercial and residential Fire and Security sectors. : A yearning to integrate this new division into the Masterfix portfolio. : Drive and enthusiasm that matches the invested/investor:based nature of the Client business model. : Personal growth potential and a hunger to learn from other divisions across theclient : Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for clear and effective communication with stakeholders, team members, and clients. : Strong IT skills including excellent Microsoft packages (especially Excel), database management and client portals (training will be provided) Be the perfect fitYour core qualities and attributes : To be a good team player who takes pride in their work and is willing to collaborate across the business while doing their best to always get a positive outcome from any work they carry out. : Must be able to communicate well both verbally and digitally as detailed reports are required for all jobs. : To be polite and considerate as most of the day will be spent interacting with customers and members of the public. : Must be calm under pressure and always willing to help. : Be consistent in terms of attitude, attendance, timekeeping and workmanship.
