Do you have experience of or an interest in working within a charitable organisation? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is looking for a full:time UK Financial Accountant, and the hybrid role comes with a salary in the range of A GBP 50,000 to A GBP 55,000 and excellent benefits. We are open to considering applications from Qualified or Part Qualified ACCA or CIMA Accountants. Reporting to the Head of UK Finance, you will manage a small team, working alongside UK and International colleagues and stakeholders. The Financial Accountant will work closely with the International Finance Managers to coordinate the global audit. Youll help maintain a robust financial control environment within the UK, UK taxation, banking, investments, and foreign currency management. During your first few weeks in this Financial Accountant role, you can expect to begin work on some of the following: * Work with a small team to effectively manage the ledgers of the UK companies* Ensure accurate and timely month:end and year:end closures* Appraisal and development of the team to improve efficiencies and performance and drive results* Work with external and internal auditors to ensure all requirements are met* Ensure VAT is accurately recorded and reported for UK companies for this Financial Accountant role, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include: * Extensive relevant accounting experience for an international organisation and good technical knowledge of consolidated group accounting* Knowledge of working in a multi:currency environment* Advanced Excel skills and excellent understanding of other MS Office applications* Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to understand and convey accounting/financial technical terms to others using plain language* Part Qualified or Qualified ACCA or CIMA In return for your passion, collaborative approach, and commitment, youll receive a salary in the range of A GBP 50,000 to A GBP 55,000 and an attractive benefits package, joining a friendly and inclusive culture.
