Their programmes aim to ensure the quality of life for children and young people in social care.The team is made up of a network of professionals with a wealth of experience in the care social industry, this includes independent social work practitioners, care owners and managers, therapists, teachers and senior residential staff. They are looking for Family Support Worker around Kingston As the successful candidate, you should have: 2+ years of experience working in the Care Sector, specifically with children, young people and families required.Knowledge and understanding of the needs of young people and parents/guardians from different backgrounds, those with learning disabilities, mental health, and complex needs and how this can impact family life.Awareness and understanding of the issues relating to sexuality, sexual abuse, CCE, CSE and child protection.Prevention & Management of Violence & Aggression Training desirable.Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards DoLS Training desirableExcellent verbal and written communication skills required.Advanced user of Microsoft Office 365 Literate – Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams etcCurrent Enhanced DBS Certificate or on the DBS Update Service. You will be:Self-MotivatedAdaptable.Imaginative.Able to establish good relationships with people.A team playerReliable and committedPrepared to work evenings and weekends.Able to commute to place of work. Full and part-time permanent roles are also available.Flexible Shift Hours subject to changeMonday - Sunday09:00 - 21:00 hours subject to referral.Rate of Pay: £14 - 17 per hour depending on current qualifications andexperience.
