This is NOT working for a large corporate broker.Due to continued growth, our client is currently looking to employ either an experienced Commercial Account Handler or an individual who has 2 or 3 years personal lines experience looking for the next step up, with full training provided.The company will fund your Certificate of Insurance and there's a real chance to progress your career whilst working in a friendly team.Salary: £25k to £35k dependant on experience plus extensive benefitsIf you would like to work for a brokerage that will value you as an employee and offer you a long term career option, then please get in touch as soon as possible.You will ideally have over 2 years plus of experience within a commercial insurance brokerage or at least 2 to 3 years personal lines experience.About the Commercial Account Handler role:Youll be responsible for the account handling of commercial lines customers with risks ranging from Motor Trade, Property Owners, Commercial Combined and Fleet etc.You will be a point of referral to more junior members of the team and you will use your expertise and experience to help with queries and occasional training/mentoring.You will look to identify opportunities to grow the book through offering relevant cross sales and referral leads. No Weekends Main duties in the Commercial Insurance Account Handler role: Dealing with commercial insurance policy renewalsResponsible for growing the book of commercial clients through new business / arranging policies for new clientsBe a point of referral within the teamOrganise daily work to ensure compliance is met at all timesLiaise with Underwriters to help secure the retention of clients.Identify new markets, schemes and other opportunities to help grow the Business The skills you'll bring to the Commercial Insurance Account Handler role: Thorough commercial insurance knowledge of at least 2 years is preferred or a minimum of 2 to 3 years personal lines experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong customer service focusAn organised and effective worker As mentioned above, our client has a family feel working environment and so the successful candidate will need to be a real team player.If you are interested in a long term career with a leading and fast-growing broker, please send your CV ASAP.
