This position will operate on a remote, freelance basis. To be eligible for this opportunity, you must be located in the UK. GIVEMESPORT.COM is looking for a Social Media Coordiantor to help with the day-to-day operations of the GIVEMESPORT channels on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter/X. In the fast-paced environment of professional sports, you will be required to stay on top of trends, create images, and post highly relevant and topical football content in line with the company’s brand and values. It covers news, features, and interviews across a broad range of sports, from football and MMA to the NFL and NBA , catering its content to a global audience of more than 30 million fans each and every month. We pride ourselves on delivering not just the scores, but the stories behind them. Our team of dedicated writers and contributors is committed to providing insightful commentary, thought-provoking analysis, and in-depth features that go beyond the surface of the game. Expectations: Create 10+ image graphics per day as requested by editorial team Cover high-profile football matches and create engagement posts that capitalise on key opportunities Prove daily ideas for engagement posts Provide analysis on best-performing and worst-performing content to identify key trends Execute the strategy set out by the social media lead and supporting them as necessary What we’re looking for: Strong photoshop skills and ability to create graphics quickly Experience creating effective posts for all major social media platforms (Facebook, X, Linkedin, Instagram) Specific experience in creating effective Facebook posts that generate both engagement and clicks Experience working within the digital football content (or sports content) industry Must work 19 shifts per month and be willing to work evenings and at least one weekend day Application Requirements CV, Screening Questions, and Cover Letter In your Cover Letter, please address the following questions: 1) Why do you want to write for GIVEMESPORT? 2) What makes you the right fit for the Social Media Coordinator role?
