Head ChefSalary: 70,000 + Benefits + Tips + Discounts + 3 weeks VacationLocation: Vancouver, BCOur client is a well-known hospitality group and are seeking a Head Chef for one of their vibrant establishments. This restaurant offers a unique dining experience with its electic menu and lively atmosphere in an urban setting. We are looking for someone with a hands-on kitchen management approach.Responsibilities:Standardize recipes, plating instructions, and menu costs.Inspect food products daily to ensure freshness and uphold resort quality standards.Collaborate with the Inventory Manager and purchasing team to source the best quality ingredients at optimal prices.Participate daily in food preparation to ensure execution and quality standards are met.Develop specials and coordinate with management on special events and marketing opportunities.Maintain a safe working environment and educate staff on safety practices and procedures.Contribute to the annual budgeting process.Train and develop team members on technical and professional skills for future growth opportunities.Ideal Head Chef:Strong leadership abilities to manage and inspire kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.Proven ability to design creative and appealing menus that cater to a wide range of tastes and dietary needs.Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency in all dishes served.Ability to manage food costs, control inventory, and minimize waste while maintaining quality.Strong organizational skills to oversee kitchen operations, including scheduling, order management, and equipment maintenance.If you’re interested in this opportunity, please send your resume to Dylan todayCOREcruitment are experts in recruiting for the service sector.
