Location: Chelmsford, EssexAre you a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking to advance your career in the food manufacturing industry Join our dynamic team in Chelmsford, where you will play a vital role in maintaining our high standards of production and saafety.Location: Chelmsford, EssexAre you a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking to advance your career in the food manufacturing industry Join our dynamic team in Chelmsford, where you will play a vital role in maintaining our high standards of production and saafety.Position: Maintenance EngineerShift Pattern: Double DaysKey Responsibilities: Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance PPM tasks to ensure the reliability and efficiency of equipment.Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns, diagnosing and fixing issues to minimize downtime.Conduct both electrical and mechanical maintenance across the facility.Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety standards.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.Proven experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.Experience in a food manufacturing environment is highly desirable.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
