You will be delivering effective and high-quality paediatric nursing care to young patients ensuring their needs are promptly met within your assigned community. As this is a regional role travelling to visit patients in their home setting, it is crucial that you have full UK driving licence.As this is a mobile role, candidates are required to hold a full UK driving licence.The right candidate should be NMC/HCPC and Sick Children’s Nursing registered, you must also be competent in the administration of IV therapies and cannulation. In this rile you will be treating patients with a wide range of conditions including growth hormone and biologic treatments for conditions such as juvenile arthritis, Crohn’s disease, and psoriasis.Skills required: NMC/HCPC and Sick Children’s Nursing registrationCompetent in administration of IV therapies and cannulationExperience in an acute care setting post registration including some time taking independent clinical decisions and supervising the work of othersDelivering patient care in patients own homes according to an agreed programme of care and care planTo safely administer a range of therapeutic interventions relevant to NHS project and trainingStrong understanding of therapies and drugs relevant to service offering, including NHS knowledge relating to the management of patients with treated conditions.Pays close attention to detail and follows rules and protocols, quality oriented.Strong communication skills, including actively listening, communicating sensitively, putting people at ease, and making technical details easy to understand Benefits: Up to 33 day’s holidayFlexible workingCompany Car or Car AllowancePension SchemeOngoing Training and DevelopmentCompany Mobile Phone and TabletComprehensive company inductionPrivate HealthcareAnd much more….
