Finance Administrator – Full time – 36.5 Hours per week – Monday to Friday This role is based within our Glasgow HQ and will be primarily focused on itison venues, who are proud owners of some of Glasgow’s best-loved spots: brel, Maggie’s Rock’N’Rodeo, Sloans, and Epicures. Our main mission is to bring great experiences to all of our customers and working alongside both the itison venues and itison Finance teams, you will play an integral back-of-house role in helping bring this to life. We’re looking for an exceptional and experienced Finance Administrator, to join our head office team. What you’ll be doing Working from our Glasgow HQ, you'll be responsible for providing support and assistance to our existing Finance team. You will have a passion for numbers and problem solving, work at a high pace and have a clear and methodical approach to your work. You’ll need to be a highly resourceful individual, with first-rate accuracy and a great work ethic. You'll enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, and you will be comfortable communicating with different team members and managers across the company. You should also have a minimum of 2 years’ professional work experience, in a Finance administration role. What this job is Fast paced - you’ll need to be a quick worker, calm under pressure, and bring your A game every day to stay on top of your workload and deliver results. Creative – reports, analysis and accuracy are integral to this role, but we also want someone with an inquisitive mind, who is always thinking of new and smarter ways of doing things. Skills We’d love to hear from you if: You have 2 years+ experience working in a busy Finance team. You have Sage 50 (or similar system) accounting knowledge and are confident in using Accounts software. You have Hospitality and/or Procurement experience (not essential). You are confident in using excel and are confident in working with Finance data. You are comfortable with financial reporting and analysis. You have good overall IT Skills and have an aptitude for learning new systems. Your attention to detail and accuracy is first class. You are organised and efficient, always looking for smarter ways of working. You can work independently and use your initiative to solve problems and find solutions quickly. You're enthusiastic, a great team player, and have a positive approach to working and learning in a fast-paced, growing company.
