Become part of a UK based IT team delivering excellent service and support to Ardagh Group UK facilities. Working closely with the Regional IT Support Manager to look at ways to improve the Regional IT infrastructure. It is the responsibility of the IT regional support engineer to provide a second level of support to our end users. Ensure a good quality of service, collaborating with Group IT services. Completing day:to:day operations and maintenance of the Regional Infrastructure devices and applications. Whilst ensuring that the technology deployed to Ardagh's desktops is in line with user expectations, stable and up to date. Key Responsibilities include: : Ensure that all systems supported by Regional Services are operational.: Monitor IT solutions within the area of their responsibility, report and troubleshoot any problems as required. :Apply security updates and patches, as required.: Create documentation, procedures and policies in relation to their covered areas.: Establish a good working relationship with their peers, our end users and other business providers.: Create Dashboards and Reports.: Make decisions on a technical level within their area of responsibility in coordination with their direct superior. Skills and Experience: :3 years experience working with workstations, servers, networking:SAP / ERP system experience beneficial:Ability to plan and control local IT budgets :Good level of written and spoken English.:Highly motivated and able to work independently:Ability to travel:Flexible approach to work:Pragmatic and analytical approach to problem solving.:Ability to manage own work schedule.:Good organisational skills:Experience of user support / ITIL in an IT environment would be beneficial The right candidate will be a team player who is organised, proactive and self:confident with ability to build relationships from a customer focused perspective.
