This role is critical in supporting and actioning day-to-day people-related issues, including recruitment and retention, performance management, employee onboarding, absence management and support, trade union liaison, organisation design, grievance, and disciplinary management.Job Title – Senior Human Resources Advisor Location – Coalville LE67Contract – Temp 8 weeksHours – 36.25Role summary – The company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Human Resources Advisor to join their dynamic Human Resources team. This role is critical in supporting and actioning day-to-day people-related issues, including recruitment and retention, performance management, employee onboarding, absence management and support, trade union liaison, organisation design, grievance, and disciplinary management.Key Responsibilities: Act as the primary HR support for Heads of Service and managers, ensuring the operational delivery of service functions.Support effective consultation processes and encourage a culture focused on council tenants and customers.Provide advisory support in meetings and investigations covering attendance, performance, grievance, and disciplinary situations.Maintain an awareness of best HR practices and professional developments.Support recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.Assist in change management processes and support other members of the HR team as needed.
