What does a day in the life of a Nursing Officer at IMG look like: Telephone and email-based travel advice to individuals and small corporate groups. Management of inpatient and outpatient cases. Augmentation and facilitation of the transfer of insured clients & members. Maintenance and development of the IMG Europe medical equipment library, ensuring high standards of governance. Liaising with and maintaining the database of IMG Europe’s team of escorts. Working collaboratively with other subsidiaries of IMG in providing a global and integrated service. Provide pre-authorisation services for a range of international private medical insurance clients. What We`re Looking for: Previous insurance/ Repatriation experience (Required) Registered general nurse on Sub part 1 of the NMC register (Required) 5 years post registration nursing experience in an acute field such as ICU/A&E or pre-hospital roles. Demonstrate an ability to work autonomously with authority, while working as part of a greater team must be dynamic and adaptable in response to the needs of the business. Demonstrate a sound understanding of normal anatomy & physiology and the impact of disease, illness & injury Undertake a 6-month period of training & probation in one of the UK offices. Experience with international private medical case management and preauthorisation procedures. (Preferred) Have studied or working towards CCAT course or equivalent aeromedical retrieval course (Preferred) What do we offer: Hybrid working Competitive Salary of £42,000 - £48,000 (Depending on Experience & Pro Rota) We promote internally as much as possible.
