JOB : C and I Design Engineer LOCATION : Northampton TERM : Permanent SALARY : Competitive depending on skillset A Northampton based Engineering company are currently looking for a C and I Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The C and I Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: : NVQ or equivalent electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline. : Previous experience designing and developing systems. : Good knowledge of electrical design packages such as AutoCAD Electrical, Solidworks Electrical or Eplan. : PLC programming experience and good software understanding. : Knowledge of ProfiNET, EtherNet, Modbus etc. : Ability to work independently or as part of a team. : Full UK driving license. The duties and responsibilities will include: : Full life cycle development of control systems from design through to commissioning. : Testing and fault finding. : Producing design specifications and ensuring designs meet requirements. : Providing commissioning support. : Ensuring health and safety requirements are met at all times.
