The Sous Chef will be a part of a 1 AA Rosette kitchen dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences with a menu that evolves daily to showcase the finest market:fresh ingredients. They source our fish and seafood directly from the Coast, ensuring the freshest catch arrives straight to their door in Berkshire About the venue and company * Proud holder of a 1 AA Rosette.* Daily menus that feature market:fresh ingredients.* A cozy, inviting setting perfect for casual dining or special occasions.* A dedicated and talented kitchen team that values creativity and excellence. About the position * Assist the Head Chef in the daily operation of the kitchen.* Create and develop daily menus that incorporate market:fresh ingredients.* Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.* The Sous Cheff will supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support.* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. The successful candidate * Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a similar high:quality, 1 AA Rosette environment.* Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and seasonal ingredients.* Passion for fresh, locally sourced food with an eye for detail and creativity.* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
