Facility Technician : Coventry : A GBP 24,000 to A GBP 30,000 plus benefits : Permanent Do you have previous experience in facilities or maintenance within an automotive or related technical environment? A Facility Technician opportunity has become available for one of the worlds leading technology companies for development, simulation and testing in the automotive industry. As an Facility Technician, you will service, maintain, calibrate, work with, and update service and maintenance schedules. You will monitor and maintain the facilities to ensure the optimal operating state and utilise the building management systems. During your first few weeks in this facility maintenance role, you can expect to take on some of the following: * Service, maintenance, calibration of equipment in accordance with given procedures* Work with and update service and maintenance schedules* Monitor and maintain the facilities to ensure the optimal operating state and utilising the building management systems* DIY (Plumbing, Painting, Decorating, Joinery) for all communal spaces* Routine testing on a variety of life safety systems including Fire Alarm Systems, Gas Detection Systems among others* Supporting key projects, office refurbishments, moves and external ground repairs* Installation of cables including communication and data for this Facility Technician role, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include: * Previous experience within a maintenance role and awareness/previous experience in execution of Facility related projects* Qualifications relating to electrical installations (C and G Level 2)* Good understanding of: Compressed air systems and desiccant dryers, Chilled water systems, Compressed gas delivery systems* Good working experience of health and safety systems* General DIY : plumbing, painting and decorating experience If youre looking to make a positive impact and create change, possessing an inclusive and committed approach, youll be rewarded with a salary of A GBP 30,000 and an attractive benefits package. for this full:time Facility Technician job in Coventry, please get in touch with Jonathan Lee Recruitment today.
