Because of heightened workload, this employer is actively searching for an Electrical Technician to join their team on a permanent basis.Their UK flagship facility is based in LEEDS, just a few miles from the M1 & M62 motorways, meaning that the successful Electrical Technician can easily commute from Wakefield, Bradford, Selby, Castleford, Pontefract, Huddersfield, Wetherby and Harrogate.Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Technician: Working as part of a skilled team responsible for conducting safe testing of high pressure industrial rotating machineryWorking directly from schematics, wiring diagrams and drawings to accurately instal various types of sensors and instruments to monitor a vast range of parameters during the testing phase For the Electrical Technician position, we are keen to hear from individuals who possess the following: Formal qualifications within a relevant discipline apprenticeship, NVQ/BTEC/City & Guilds Level 3, HNC, HND etc.Previous experience working within an industrial or manufacturing environmentThe ability to read, interpret and work directly from schematics & drawings Working Hours of the Electrical Technician: 37 Per week spread across a day shift pattern: Monday to Thursday - 07:00 to 15:30 Friday – 07:00 to 12:30 In return, the Electrical Technician will receive: Annual Salary: £35,739.20 £18.58 per hourHoliday Entitlement: 33 Days including public holidaysAnnual Bonus up to £1,700.00 per annum – subject to company performancePension Scheme: 15 Combined Contribution 9 Employer / 6 EmployeeAccess to the onsite canteen subsidised and gymOpportunity to work frequent overtime, paid at 150Free onsite car parking To apply for the Electrical Technician position, please click “Apply Now” and attach a copy of your CV.
