We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Bromley to assist with the appointment of an Environmental Health Officer , on a 5- month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay: £28.14 - £35.41 per Hour Responsibilities: To investigate all relevant service requests in accordance with Divisional procedures and ensure that remedial action is undertaken. To specifically carry out public health complaint investigations and take enforcement action where necessary in accordance with relevant legislation. Provide advice to members of the public and business to assist in compliance with legislation. To investigate relevant service requests in accordance with Divisional procedures and ensure that remedial action is undertaken. Prepare statutory notices within delegated responsibilities and attend court where necessary. Provide specialist technical support within the Division and to other Council departments as required. Requirements: Any relevant professional qualifications would be advantageous. Experience of working with the relevant legislation and/or in a related area. Full driving licence for car.
