Parent Zone is a social enterprise working with families to help them flourish in a digital age. As part of our social mission, we fund an arms length, youth led organisation called VoiceBox created to support our work by bringing a youth perspective to our projects. We’re looking for someone to work alongside the startup team to take VoiceBox to the next level. You’ll need to be excited by the prospect of working in a youth led environment with the support of a well established organisation to learn from. You'll be enthusiastic about giving young people an opportunity to articulate their thoughts and ideas and ready to work hard to make a difference. You’ll be willing to do what’s needed to make VoiceBox a success. That might be identifying potential funders and pitching ideas or working with the team to deliver projects and innovate on the platform. You’ll need to be entrepreneurial, in touch with the VoiceBox audiences and ready to take the work to a wider audience. The VoiceBox team includes people in the US and the UK so you’ll need to be comfortable collaborating at a distance. You will be expected to come into the Parent Zone office once a week in order to provide the link between Parent Zone and VoiceBox. This is a paid opportunity intended to lead to a permanent role for the right candidate. The internship salary is £20,000 per annum. We would consider a part time candidate.
