This is a LOCUM opportunity for the duration of 12-weeks with the likelihood of extension. Part-time applications will be considered. The post holder will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients suffering with mental health issues.Job Purpose: Band 6 Pharmacist Pay Rate: £25.00 LTD p/h + £250 BonusLocation: CambridgeWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00Key Responsibilities: Conduct clinical assessments of prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.Perform final accuracy checks of dispensed medicines, adhering to strict safety protocols.Provide clinical advice and answer questions from prescribers to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Carry out clinical assessments of prescriptions on hospital wards.Offer prescribing advice to hospital doctors and Non-Medical Prescribers NMPs to ensure safe and effective treatment plans.Support ward staff with information and guidance related to prescribing and administering medicines.Engage in patient consultations, offering professional advice on medication management.Participate in general medicines management activities, contributing to the overall healthcare team’s efficiency and effectiveness.
