This engineering manufacturer has a reputation for excellence. The core purpose of the CNC Machinist role is to Operate CNC machine tools. Producing precision parts and ensuring metal workpieces meet exact specifications for the highest product quality. What is on offer to the CNC Machinist A starting salary of £33,100 per annum - £16.75 per hour7.45 am – 4.30 pm Mon – Thurs, 7.45am – 12.45 pm Friday28 days holiday rising to 33 days + Christmas leaveAnnual bonusPension Scheme and life insuranceOn-site ParkingGenuine career development opportunities CNC Machinist Key Responsibilities: The CNC Technician will be required to set, adjust, and operate Fanuc controlled CNC machines to perform precision turning & milling operations on small batches ranging from 50-off to 1000-off parts.Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.Read engineering drawings and understand the specifications and tolerancing.Study sample parts, drawings, and engineering information to determine methods and sequences of the operations needed to produce products. CNC Machinist requirements: Formal mechanical and manufacturing engineering qualification or equivalent or time-served apprenticeship would be a distinct advantagePrevious experience working on Turn / Mill or Mill / Turn Multi-Axis MachinesExperience in a similar high precision environment, with proven understanding of CNC machinist responsibilities.Experience machining ferrous and non-ferrous metals including steel, aluminium and brass.Ability to read technical /engineering drawings with a good understanding of tolerancing/geometrical tolerancing.Safety conscious with a good understand of H&S practices and requirements For immediate consideration for CNC Machinist the position, please “click apply” or contact Conor Wood at E3 Recruitment on 01484 XXXXXX.
