Based in the Hoyland area of Barnsley the position offers fantastic opportunities for an experienced Mechanical Design EngineerWhat’s in it for you as Mechanical Design Engineer: Training and personal development opportunitiesBase salary from £40k to £50k per annum, subject to experience33 days holidayHours of work – Monday to Friday 34 hours per week with an early finish on a FridayCompany pensionThe ability to play a lead role within design and manufacturing operations What do you need to apply to the Mechanical Design Engineer Vacancy Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks design experience – 3D modellingQualified in a Mechanical Engineering discipline Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, Degree etcPractical hands-on approach to testing conceptsMust be able to identify and solve problems effectively Key Duties of Mechanical Design Engineer AUTOCAD Inventor Design of bespoke machineryDesign and develop new and existing machinery to meet customer requirementsThe generation of engineering and assembly drawings using Autodesk inventorThe distribution of drawings to the shop floor – machining, welding, assembly etcWorking closely with manufacturing teams to identify and overcome any design to manufacturing issues, whilst developing corrective measures .Meeting with suppliers and customers to understand new technologies and new product development opportunities If of interest, please APPLY NOW
