Are you an Occupational Therapist seeking a new challenge Do you have previous experience supporting a Psychiatric Intensive Care UnitService Care Solutions are working with Southwest London & St Georges NHS Trust to recruit a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to support the PICU Ward. The successful candidate will provide support to patients with a range of Mental and Physical Health conditions in line with the occupational therapy pathways.Job Purpose – Band 6 Occupational Therapist Shifts: Monday to Friday, Full-Time or Part-Time Location: Springfield Hospital, Chelmsford, Essex Pay: £28.00 p/h LTD + £250 Sign-Up Bonus Contract: 3 Month Locum likelihood of extensionKey Responsibilities To provide a high-quality service by a dedicated team for patients referred to the PICU Ward.Postholder will provide high quality and evidence based occupational therapy assessment and interventions, both group and individual, to people who access services and their carers/supporters/family members, in line with the occupational therapy pathways.To promote social inclusion and physical and mental well-being using evidence-based practice. This is underpinned by the principles of hope and recovery, health promotion and relapse prevention.
