Now employing over 1000 people worldwide, this engineering powerhouse supply into a number of high-profile industries including Defence, Power Generation and Oil & Gas.Based in HUDDERSFIELD, just 10 minutes from the M62, this business is easily commutable from Halifax, Bradford, Leeds, Rochdale, Oldham, Manchester, Wakefield, Barnsley, Rotherham and Sheffield.Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector: Carrying out visual & dimension inspection of machined components, using a variety of measuring tools & instruments including CMM & Faro ArmRaise, investigate and support with Machining NCRsAccurate maintenance & storage of reports, investigations and data The Quality Inspector will: Hold formal qualifications within Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship, HNC, HND or similarHave previous experience working in a relevant role, ideally within a heavy engineering environment Working hours of the Quality Inspector:The core working hours of this position are detailed below rotating AM/PM shifts: AM Shift: 40 Hours per week - 18 shift allowance o Monday to Friday 06:30 to 14:30 PM Shift: 34 Hours per week - 18 shift allowance o Monday to Thursday 14:30 to 22:00o Friday: 14:30 to 18:30In return, the Quality Inspector will receive: Basic salary - £36080 - plus 18 shift allowance - £42574Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days including public holidaysAccess to on-site canteen & gym To apply for the Quality Inspector position, please click “Apply Now” and attach a copy of your CV.
