The successful candidate will play a vital role in leading the Nursing Team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents. The role requires strong leadership abilities and a commitment to excellence in nursing practice.The service is a specialist Nursing Home supporting Older Adults with a range of complex conditions including Dementia. The home has a maximum occupancy of 81-beds and provides long-term residential care and on-going medical monitoring and physical treatment to residents. Job Purpose: Director of Nursing Salary: €70,000-€80,000 per annum + £250 SCS Sign-Up BonusLocation: Clonmel, County TipperaryWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:30Contract: Full-time 40 HoursKey Responsibilities: Providing leadership and clinical supervision to staff to enhance standards and morale.Creating and maintaining a residential environment where residents feel supported and valued.Ensuring adequate staffing levels for high-quality care delivery and smooth operations.Serving as a resource to nursing staff in planning and implementing care.Providing leadership and clinical supervision to all staff is essential for enhancing standards and fostering a positive team morale.Establishing and upholding high standards of professional practice and ensuring the nursing home environment meets the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of residents.Promoting, encouraging, and practicing person-centred care which is essential for ensuring the well-being of residents.Flexibility is required, as availability to work night and weekend shifts may be necessary.
