This is your opportunity to work with some of the largest and highest profile businesses in the UK, helping them and their staff succeed. You will: Maintain up to date knowledge of funding rules and contractual requirements; Plan, and undertake, audits, ensuring they are carried out in line with company policies and timescales; Collate audit findings, and make recommendations to rectify areas of non-compliance; Identify areas of best practice, consistency; and contractual compliance; Generate, and distribute, accurate audit reports reflective of your findings, ensuring that management are informed of the results and can act accordingly; Monitor progress, and compliance, with contractual milestones ensuring timescales are met and appropriate remedial action is undertaken; Support the appropriate stakeholders in the achievement and maintenance of relevant compliance standards across all contracts. Person Specification: Personality and Attitude • A can-do, and upbeat, attitude to work, colleagues, and clients; • A self-starter and self-manager who is able to get things done; • An inquisitive mind, an ability to seek out the required information, and problem solve; • Solutions driven with detailed attention to outcomes and the inputs needed to secure them; • Integrity and standards that mirror those of Corndel – where people and success matter; • The ability to prioritise, plan for contingencies, adapt to changes at short notice and deliver; • Self-motivated, with the ability to work alone, or as part of the wider team; • A passion for continued professional, and personal, development; • A person who wants to make a difference. Skills • Good business acumen with excellent attention to detail and a ‘get things right first’ approach; • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and coordinate a number of activities at any one time; • Outstanding verbal, and written, communication skills and the confidence to communicate with individuals, across all levels; • The ability to analyse and present complex information, and processes, in meaningful terms to different audiences; • Able to use judgement and escalate issues as, and when, required; • The ability to use systems to manage and record data. Knowledge and experience • A confident user of IT with a willingness and aptitude to learn a new system; • Experience of working within a regulated environment is desirable; • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment; • Understanding of the role and purpose of an audit function.
